We do our best to ship your EcoSak out to you within one week of your order placement, and depending on where you live, ground transport can take 1-5 more days. If you place your order on a weekend or around a holiday, please account for extra time for processing and manufacturing your order. Once your order has shipped, we will send you tracking information by email so you know exactly when your package will arrive! Can I change my order after I place it? Yes. You can have 24 hours to make changes without any fees. Because EcoSaks are made to order, there will be a 15% restocking fee if you need to make changes to your order beyond 24 hours. Do you ship to APO/FBO or PO Boxes? Unfortunately, you must have a physical address that we can deliver to. We use UPS as our carrier, and we do not have an option to deliver to APO/FBO or PO Boxes. If you use this address as your main address, you might consider having your EcoSak sent to an alternate address for this shipment. Do you ship overseas? Due to the high cost of international shipping rates, we limit our "Free Shipping" offer to anywhere in the Continental USA. We also deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, however extra fees apply. Please contact an agent with your mailing address for a quote on shipping costs to these areas. If you are outside the USA, and are interested in placing an order for multiple pieces, we can look into shipping via international common carrier and get back to you with a quote. This code should be entered in the Coupon Code field of the shopping cart. Choose your products first and then enter this code at Check Out. Any remaining funds will be available as credit for a future purchase. We do not rebate additional credit as cash if the entire Gift Certificate is not used. Why do I need a liner? If your bean bag doesn't have a liner, it is really difficult to clean, and you are limited to "spot clean only" type options. We include a natural, undyed 100% Certified Organic Cotton liner with every EcoSak, which means your organic cotton cover is easy to remove and machine wash. What is the liner made of? Natural, undyed organic cotton. All of our fabrics are 100% certified organic cotton, and meet Control Union (SKAL) Global Organic Textile Standards. How do I clean my EcoSak? We think one of the best features of an EcoSak is that you can unzip the cover and throw it in the washing machine! All of our EcoSaks come with removable covers and organic cotton liners that make this possible. Simply machine wash cold and line dry or lay flat to dry. If you do want to put it in the dryer, use low or no heat as these 100% cotton covers are NOT pre-shrunk, and you want to make sure you'll be able to fit it back over the bean bag after cleaning. Sometimes spot treatment is necessary. Please test a small patch of fabric for color-fastness prior to spraying the entire area. If you need to clean your liner, you must spot clean only, as it will be impossible to remove the liner from the foam filling. Is your organic cotton certified? Yes! Absolutely. All of our fabrics are 100% certified organic cotton, and meet Control Union (SKAL) Global Organic Textile Standards, and are dyed according to the OERO-TEX Standard 100 Certified eco-friendly and sustainable pricess for dyeing and finishing. Where do your colors come from? Our organic cotton fabric is tinted with natural dyes, and are dyed according to the OERO-TEX Standard 100 Certified eco-friendly and sustainable pricess for dyeing and finishing. This is why our "tomato" fabric is really as red as a tomato! Like most textiles produced for commercial use, our 100% certified organic cotton does have a silicone-based finish. This is commonly used, and is probably on most textiles you own and use regularly. We do not use any other treatments, such as stain repellants or flame retardants. Our liners are un-dyed certified organic cotton. What is repurposed foam? The repurposed foam we use in our EcoSaks comes as a byproduct of furniture manufacturing. It is first-quality urethane foam that comes to us as scraps that are leftover from furniture making. It is easy for us to utilize this waste after it is shredded, and it makes the perfect bean bag chair filling! Are there chemical additives in your foam? The State of California requires all foams used in furniture to have a flame retardant that complies with the "State of California, Technical Bullettin 117, Jan. 1980." Because California requires this for any furniture to be sold in the state, the entire nation for the most part complies because it is a huge part of the market. The foam we use is sourced from furniture scraps that come from various manufacturers, and each of them comply with Cal 117. These manufacturers do not all use the flame retardants so it is hard for us to know the exact composition, but they have all been proven safe for human exposure. There are lots of resources on the web that can help you understand what exactly the retardants are made of. Recently, there have been some safer and less toxic flame retardants introduced to the market, and we would expect the trend toward these to continue, however there is no way to be certain what everyone is using. Additionally, the composition includes about 2-5% Soy Oil mixed with the petrochemical base. Aside from buckwheat hulls, dried beans, and non-chemically treated wood, there is little, if any furniture out there that is totally non toxic. We hope to be able to source a product in the future that will allow us to build EcoSaks from entirely non-toxic materials, but for now we are excited to be able to offer a recycled option that is covered in organics. Does my EcoSak arrive assembled? No, your EcoSak will require some very simple assembly. In order to save on shipping and packaging, we ship your EcoSak to you in three components...the vacuum-packed foam filling, the liner, and the cover. You will have to insert the foam pods into the liner, and then place the cover over the liner. Complete assembly instructions are included in every package. Here is a short video that will give you an idea of what's involved: My EcoSak feels a little too full. Why? Not every customer is the same size, but we need to provide enough foam to give everyone the same amount of comfort. For instance, a person weighing 120 pounds might find the bag a little to full, but a person weighing 200 pounds might think it is just right. It is easier to remove stuffing accordingly, than it is to add it. If you feel your bag is a little too full, simply remove a bit of stuffing at a time until you find it is perfect for you. If you have already removed the child-proof zipper tab, you can insert a paper clip into the zipper pull to open the liner. Keep in mind that removing foam can make a mess! You'll need to have a broom or vacuum handy for easy clean-up, and a lint brush can help remove any foam residue on the cover when you are done. My EcoSak is starting to lose it’s fluff. What should I do? When your EcoSak starts to pack down a bit, you’ll need to toss it around, roll it, beat it up a bit, and it will be good as new in no time! After years of use, you might need to add a bit of foam to your EcoSak to plump it up. If you need to purchase more EcoFoam, you can do it here Can I replace my EcoSak cover? Absolutely! When you get tired of the Tomato cover and you want to replace it with a Chocolate one, or when Lassie takes over your EcoSak as her own and you decide it's time for a fresh look, we are happy to sell you a replacement cover. Don't feel like you are stuck with one color forever...we've got options! Are your zippers child-proof? Yes, all of our products come with child-safety zippers to prevent kids from opening the bags. During assembly, twist off the zipper-pull on the liner after you have filled it to prevent the chance of a child getting in to the innards of your bean bag chair. If you should need to get inside the bag for any reason after you have removed the zipper-pull, you can thread a paper clip through the zipper head to use it as a zipper pull. If you have children however, be sure to remove it, as it can be a very dangerous choking or suffocation hazard.
