We live in a community where sustainability is a way of life. We ride our bikes to work, we recycle our home and office waste, and we buy local as often as we can. At EcoSak, we understand that “Green” is more than just a word. We also understand that, while we are making efforts toward more sustainable products, producing furniture of any sort is not without an impact. That’s why we donate a portion of our profits to 1% For The Planet, an environmental organization started by Yvon Chouinard.
We are excited to bring you the EcoSak, a product that we feel good about. Very few furniture products are truly eco-friendly, and we don't intend to sell you a product based on a false premise. We are a concious company that is looking for new ways to re-create old school furniture, and this is where we start. The fabrics we use are Organic Cotton and Eco-Suede (made from recycled soda bottles), and the fillings we use are recycled foam and buckwheat hulls. We will continue to source products for manufacturing that we feel fit into the philosophy of EcoSak, and as we do, we will add more color and fabric options to our bean bag chairs.
Our crew here at EcoSak thinks we’ve got something fun, funky, and comfortable here, and we think you’ll agree!
